I like baseball as much as the next sports fan and I can get passionate about certain teams, but I’ve never met anyone as enthralled with the New York Yankees as Josh and his groomsmen. And even though I’m a Braves fan who married into Red Sox nation, this group of guys welcomed me into their company as soon as I showed up with my cameras.
For Heather and Josh’s wedding, I was second shooting along side my friend Michael A. Anderson, so I spent the first part of the day with Josh and his buddies as they got ready at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro. There was never a dull moment as this group of close friends celebrated their buddy’s big day. I generally laugh a lot, but these guys had me cracking up from the beginning.
Once we got to the ceremony site at Tuscany Gardens, I got to meet Heather and realized how great of a couple these two made. Their love for each other and joy for life was apparent in all the little things, such as the custom Derek Jeter watch Heather gave Josh with the time of the wedding already set. All he had to do was push the pin in once she started walking down the aisle.
It is always a true privilege to see two families come together and to photograph the joy that is in abundance during a wedding day. Heather and Josh, along with the family and friends, were an absolute pleasure to spend the day with.Share This!
